Hero MotoCorp founder Brijmohan Lal Munjal died Hero MotoCorp founder and doyer of the Indian two wheeler industry, Brijmohan Lal Munjal (92) died on 1 November, 2015 in New Delhi. He became the Chairman-emeritus of the group earlier this year and remained on the board of the company as non-executive member. Hero MotoCorp is the world’s largest two wheeler company. He was conferred with the ‘Padma Bhushan’ in 2005. World’s fastest cruise missile ‘BrahMos’ successfully test fired from INS Kochi The supersonic cruise missile BrahMos with a strike range of over 290 Km, was on 1 November test fired successfully from the Navy’s newest stealth destroyer, INS Kochi and hit it’s target ‘Allepey’, a decommissioned ship in the Arabian Sea. After two trials from INS Kolkata, test firing from INS Kochi has validated the newly commissioned ship’s system.
